1991

Randal joined FairCom waaaay back in 1991. Since then, FairCom offices have moved twice, and two additional foreign offices were added (FairCom Japan and FairCom Brazil). He's seen a lot in that time!

• Hubble Space Telescope launched (yup.. it's still working too!)
• A solar eclipse of record totality occurred July 11 (An Omen?!)
• The first web site built was put online at CERN
• The Dead Sea Scrolls were made available for the first time (Rumors that Randal is mentioned in them.)
• Linus Torvalds posts Usenet messages about a new operating system kernel (Remember Usenet?)
• Sonic the Hedgehog series first published by Sega
• Joey Logano (NASCAR driver) was born in 1991
• Terminator 2, Silence of the Lambs and City Slickers were the popular movies of the time
• The Twins beat the Braves
• The New York Giants defeated the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV (the only Super Bowl game decided by one point)
• Comedy Central was launched
• Pan Am ended operations
