Pricing Options
Pricing shown is for qualified OEMs who have developed a commercial application using c-treeACE. If you are an end-user of an application that uses c-treeACE technology, we encourage you to contact your application vendor for pricing and licensing information. c-treeACE offers exceptional flexibility in OEM pricing to match your business model.

- Perpetual rights to the deployed c-treeACE Server provided with the application.

- Available to OEM customers who are able to commit to specific deployment volumes via a signed agreement with FairCom.
- Low price entry point making it easy to migrate from a standalone (non-server) operational model and to incorporate the server pricing into your annual maintenance program.
- Includes all updates to the c-treeACE Servers, allowing you to always have access to the latest server technology for all of your deployments.
- The perfect solution for ASPs who deploy applications on a subscription basis.

Step 2: Choose either a User licensing model, or a Connection licensing model.
User Licensing Model
The User Licensing model supports a stated number of concurrent users, with a maximum number of connections (or threads) per user.

- Ideal for applications such as desktop accounting packages where there is a well defined number of users and number of connections per user. For example, assume you have an accounting system with 10 users. Each user is running from their own computer and may initiate up to 4 connections (or 4 instances of the accounting system) to the c-treeACE Server. In this example, the total connections available will be 40 (10 Users X 4 Connections = 40) but each user will be limited to 4 connections.
- This is not a "named user" licensing scheme - any user can access the server as long as the stated number of concurrent users (based on IP address) is not exceeded.
- Perpetual or annual licensing available.

Connection Licensing Model
The Connection or "Unlimited Node" Licensing model supports a pool of concurrent connections with no limit on the number of users (i.e., nodes or devices) that can connect to the server as long as the total number of concurrent connections licensed is not exceeded.

- Ideal for multi-tier enterprise systems where a single mid-tier device may run a multi-threaded application that opens tens or hundreds of concurrent connections to the database.
- Perpetual or annual licensing available.

- Servers supporting ISAM only (no SQL access) are available at a 15% discount from the above SQL prices.
- OEMs with a signed deployment agreement have the flexibility of additional granular pricing for their customers using c-treeACE Servers. Contact FairCom's business team to discuss alternative pricing that may better reflect your business models.
