Description

TempIIndexXtd8() is a variation of TempIIndexXtd() that permits the use of huge file support. This section expands on the description of TempIIndexXtd().

pxcreblk points to an array of XCREblk structures, the extended creation block, one for each physical file in ifilptr. For more information, review “Huge File Support” in the c-tree Plus Programmer’s Reference Guide.

TempIIndexXtd8() returns error codes similar to those for TempIIndexXtd(). See “c-tree Plus Error Codes” in the c-tree Plus Programmer’s Reference Guide for a complete listing of valid c-tree Plus error values.

Limitations

PermIIndex8() and TempIIndexXtd8() support ctTRANDEP creates. Without ctTRANDEP creates, these routines cannot be called within a transaction. With ctTRANDEP creates, they MUST be called within a transaction.
